There are many things to do in the area. Surf, swim or fish in the sea. A SUP tour through the Amoreira River, a grotto ride in Lagos or a ride on a horse into the sunset, right on our doorstep. Massages or a yoga session at the Dawn Collective Shala in Vale da Telha are also highly sought after.

The beaches in the area are beautiful. Arrifana beach is definitely worth a visit for the great views and the surf vibe. There is a nice little walk down to the beach. Watch out for the tide. 

Our favourite beach is Monte Clerigo – so beautiful and not crowded at all. Perfect beach for families as the rock pools fill with warm water at low tide. Another beautiful place is Amoreira, but it’s quite difficult to reach because you have to cross the river. Go down the stairs on the right and you can already guess the way. 

Odeceixe is a real picture-book beach just below a small picturesque village. 
The Gin Sul Bar is the best place to enjoy the indescribable sunsets.
