In Vale da Telha there is a very small supermarket called Supermarket Roque & Filho, which sells fresh bread and the small daily necessities.
Another, slightly larger supermarket is very close by in Vales. There is an amazingly good bakery there with quite a good selection.
The market in Aljezur is great – there is a great selection of local fruit, vegetables and some great fish – feel free to ask for the catch of the day for the perfect BBQ evening at the casa.
The bakery in Aljezur has very good homemade products such as sourdough bread, cakes and biscuits.
If you fancy local produce, fancy wines and want to buy products without packaging, visit Ruben at Madame Granel near the church in Aljezur.
You can quickly find a wide range of groceries at Intermarche in Aljezur. There is also a Lidl and Aldi in Lagos or Villa do Bispo.
For pottery you go to Raposeira and visit Isabell in the great Ceramica Paraiso. For some great second hand shopping you go to Retro Activo in Aljezur and score some cool retro fashion.
